Over the past few weeks, employees transitioned to the new kitchen facility on Cawarra Road, bringing their skills, experience and passion with them. The move not only provides a modern, purpose-built workspace but also creates new opportunities for growth, learning and employment.
The kitchen significantly increases Civic’s catering and food production capacity, allowing more meals to be prepared and more customers served. It also supports exciting partnerships such as Able Foods, with Civic Kitchen & Catering now supplying sausage rolls and arancini balls to customers across Australia.
This partnership brings together Able Foods’ commitment to quality food and Civic Kitchen & Catering’s commitment to creating inclusive employment pathways for people with disability, demonstrating how quality food and social purpose can go hand in hand.
