Civic offers a range of clinical services tailored to improve the wellbeing and social participation of individuals.
Using a Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) approach, our Clinical specialists support people to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
We promote an inclusive and interdisciplinary approach, engaging clients and their support networks as well as other clinical and Allied Health services when required.
Assessments and therapy are evidence-based to ensure effective services are delivered.

Ellen Banks
Clinical Services Manager
Ellen has over 20 years of experience working with people with disability, beginning her career as a Support Worker, Education Inclusion worker and then a Registered Nurse. She brings a wealth of experience across a range of settings including aged care, surgery, critical care and community settings.
Ellen joined Civic as head of Clinical, leading a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing person-centered support with a strong health and wellbeing focus.
She loves working with clients and their support networks to create new and innovative ways to help them achieve their goals.

Lucy Riechelmann
Behaviour Support Practitioner
Joining Civic in 2022, Lucy’s first role was as an Employment Support Partner in Civic Industries. Every day, she worked closely with supported employees to build their skills and knowledge and develop attainable career goals.
Lucy now brings her Civic experience and Psychology degree to our Clinical Services Team as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. She provides a high level of support and care to those she works with and takes great pride in implementing strategies that make a difference to a client’s wellbeing.

Emilija Gasoska
Behaviour Support Practitioner
After completing her Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Cognitive and Brain Sciences, Emilija started working in the disability sector in Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapy.
Over her two years working as a Behaviour Therapist, she developed a strong person-centered approach and the ability to recognise behaviours of concern as well as create strategies to improve quality of life.
She is passionate about making meaningful connections with clients and supporting them to implement strategies that make a difference in their lives.

Aminata Bangura
Clinical Nurse Consultant
Aminata started in the disability industry as a Support Worker before gaining her nursing registration.
Her nursing experience spans Paediatrics, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Aged Care, Cardiothoracic and Respiratory and she has gained extensive clinical experience in providing holistic nursing care. She’s also mentored the next generation of nurses through leadership roles including Team Leader, Preceptor and Clinical Facilitator.
Aminata is passionate about advocating for clients and ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Payton Wilson
Clinical Nurse Consultant
With her background in oncology, hematology, chemotherapy and emergency, Payton brings a wealth of nursing experience to Civic’s Clinical Team.
Looking for a new challenge, she transitioned to the disability sector in 2023 and now loves spending her days supporting clients to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
