Flexible Aged Care Services

As much or as little support as you need

Civic’s Flexible Aged Care service offers in-and-out-of-home support for seniors, aged 65 years or older who are in need of some support around the home, as well as providing respite for carers.

As an Aged Care provider with more than 60 years’ experience, Civic’s friendly aged care team is ready to help.

  • Tailored support to suit your needs

The type of supports provided are varied and include, but are not limited to:

    • Flexible respite – this service can provide respite for family members and friends who may act as carers.
    • Accompanied, and unaccompanied grocery shopping – one of our friendly support workers can take you to your local supermarket to pick up groceries, or they can take a list and shop on your behalf. We will of course, also help you to unpack bags and put groceries away once at home.
    • Social outings and home visits – whether it’s a coffee and a chat at home, a trip to the beach or local park, or support to visit family and friends, Civic can help you maintain those important social connections.
    • Delivery of pre-prepared meals, from Civic Kitchen & Catering – our team is on hand to provide delicious pre-prepared, healthy meals in single or two-portion serves.
    • Support to attend medical appointments – our team can pick you up and support you to attend appointments, or wait for you, then drop you safely back at your home.
    • Food preparation at home – if you prefer to prepare and cook your own meals, our team can support you with that.
    • Support with domestic tasks – our team can perform light cleaning duties, such as vacuuming, laundry, sweeping and dusting and so on.
    • Gardening and maintenance around the home – our team can help with light gardening tasks such as weeding.
