The Christmas spirit was in full swing recently as the ladies from Manchester Road headed to the Community Christmas Carols at Loftus. From the moment they arrived, the atmosphere was fun, welcoming and full of festive energy. 

The group started the evening like true locals, relaxing on the grass with snacks before settling into their camping chairs for the main event. For Trina and Debbie, the highlights weren’t just the music; they loved getting their face painting done and spent the afternoon chatting with neighbours and meeting local dogs. 

When the music started, the ladies proved they were ‘word perfect’, singing along to every song (with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer being a clear crowd favourite!). For Debbie, the experience was especially magical; she mentioned it was “the best night and just like being on TV”, referring to her favourite tradition of watching the Carols in the Domain. 

Events like these are more than just a fun night out; they are vital for fostering community connection and a sense of belonging. The Manchester Road team had been looking forward to this for weeks, and it certainly lived up to the hype!
