The Urban Farm Project
The Urban Farm Project by Civic is Australia’s first socially minded indoor urban farm, delivering sustainable, high-quality produce to Sydney-based hotels, restaurants and other businesses, while providing inclusive employment to individuals with disability.
Established in 2025 and made possible by the NSW Government’s Structural Adjustment Fund, the Urban Farm Project specialises in growing high quality, pesticide-free micro-herbs in an indoor, hydroponic environment.
Thanks to the skills of those employed by the Project, the Urban Farm serves up fresh, locally grown micro-herbs alongside meaningful social impact to Sydney-based clients who partner with the Project.
