On a recent morning at Civic Industries, a dedicated team set to work on a project that would reach far beyond their tables.

In partnership with BGIS, Civic employees packed Site Safety Folders for every NSW Department of Communities and Justice site and facility. Each folder was carefully assembled with essential information to support contractors, tradespeople and visitors working across these locations.

While the process required precision and attention to detail, there was also a clear sense of purpose in the room. Every document placed and every folder sealed contributed to making worksites clearer, more organised and better prepared.

This project reflects the strong partnership established between Civic and BGIS in 2022, created to expand workplace access and participation for people with disability. Since then, the collaboration has continued to create opportunities across facilities management services.

For the team at Civic Industries, this was more than just a packing task, it was an opportunity to be part of something important, supporting safe and well-run environments across the state.

By the end of the day, stacks of completed folders stood ready for distribution, each one representing careful work, teamwork and a job well done.
